Orange Cake

Olive Oil Orange Cake


½ cup Serjella Virgin Olive Oil

Zest of 2 oranges

1 cup orange juice

1 cup flour

¼ tsp salt

½ cup sugar

2 eggs

½ tsp baking soda


  • Preheat oven at 170°C.
  • Beat the eggs in a bowl with sugar and salt.
  • Sift the flour and baking powder over the eggs mixture.
  • In small bowl, mix the olive oil with orange juice and zest.
  • Add the olive oil mixture to the flour mixture. Mix to combine.
  • Pour the mixture in a cake tray.
  • Bake for 30 minutes. Let it cool.
  • Sprinkle with icing sugar. Cut and serve.
