Patatas a lo Pobre


2 potatoes

1 green bell pepper

1 onion

2 cups Serjella Virgin Olive Oil

2 cloves garlic



  • Wash the potatoes then peel them and cut them into thick slices.
  • Peel the onion then cut it into thin slices.
  • Wash the bell pepper then cut it into thin slices.
  • Heat the olive oil in a pot on medium heat until it is 170°C.
  • Add the potato, onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Season with salt.
  • Deep-fry the vegetables until they are tender.
  • Using a slotted spoon, remove the vegetables from the pot and place on plate lined with paper towels to drain from the excess oil.
