Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce


2 tbsp Serjella Extra Virgin Olive Oil

250 g spaghetti

¼ cup Serjella Extra Virgin Olive Oil

¼ cup white onion, chopped

1 cup tomato sauce

1 clove garlic, minced



  • Boil one cup of water in a medium pot and add two tablespoons of olive oil to it.
  • Add the spaghetti to the pot and season with salt. Cook according to pack instructions.
  • Heat ¼ cup of olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add onion and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add tomato sauce and cook for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  • Drain the cooked spaghetti from water. Let it stand for a few minutes in a colander.
  • Add the spaghetti to the tomato sauce mixture. Mix to combine.
  • Stir on low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve.
