
Grilled Halloumi Bruschetta
Ingredients
4 tbsp Serjella Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Halloumi cheese
French baguette
1 tomato, diced
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Fresh basil, finely chopped
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- Brush a grill pan with olive oil and grill the halloumi cheese slices for two minutes on both sides.
- Cut baguette bread to slices. Brush one side of each slice with olive oil.
- Toast for 2 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- In a bowl, mix the tomato with onion and garlic.
- Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and mix to combine.
- Add fresh chopped basil and mix well.
- Put one piece of grilled halloumi on one slice of toasted bread.
- Top with one tablespoon of the tomato mixture.
